Born and raised in New Jersey, Deana Avarie began her life as a ballerina where she danced for the John Harms Theater production of the Nutcracker. Shortly after she decided to switch it up and begin her long journey to entering the music industry. Idolizing the multi-talented musicians in her family, father lead guitar player of a small band and uncle lead singer of cover band Monte and the All Stars (www.myspace.com/monteandtheallstars), she to started to sing and shortly began to play acoustic guitar and piano.Deana Avarie has been currently singing for 6 years now showcasing her talent in New Jersey, New York City and singing the National Anthem in Newark. Her resume consists of performances at the local bar in town with the jazz band/cover band Funk Express, showcases in NYC at Iguana with her original work, National Anthem for the Newark Bears Baseball team in Newark, NJ, Polusa Night Club in Roselle Park with radio promos on KTU and Z100 as well as advertisement in Steppin Out Magazine.She possesses such talent in that she can sing the sultry, seductive blues and then easily switch it up to the up-tempo rock/pop chick making a fresh unique sound. Take six years of original composition, memorizing lyrics and unique vocals and you get a singer/songwriter that is NOT to be missed! She is currently in the studio with talented singer/songwriter, model Fayden (www.myspace.com/faydenmusic) who has also put together the fabulous and talented girls of Candy Coated Chaos (www.myspace.com/cccsound)Deana Avarie believes in herself as well as her music and this is what continues to drive this 23 year old to make that next step. Maybe that next step is another local gig at a coffee shop or maybe that next step is a featured spot in a night club.
