About Me

Wah-chiya!My name is Tracie Louttit (Eeyou/Nishnawbe), I am an Independent Producer in the Media Arts Industry. With 8 years experience as a freelance Camera Operator and Editor, I have had the pleasure of working alongside many talented industry professionals nationwide producing documentaries, shorts, TV pilots, comedy (sketch improv), commercials, promos, actor demo reels and corporate profiles. In 2004, I was Festival Director for the Dreamspeakers Film Festival, an international event held annually here in Edmonton, Alberta, showcasing the best of Aboriginal films worldwide (for more info on upcoming festival events, check out their website at www.dreamspeakers.org).I strongly support and promote independent filmmakers, artists of all sorts and musicians. I especially support our Aboriginal youth, as they are our future leaders of tomorrow! Going MILES Youth Society of Alberta is a non-profit society that uses theatre arts as a medium to enable self-expression. The non-profit organization founded by Dakota House aims at providing youth with theatre arts workshops that will Motivate, Inspire, Lead, Empower our youth to Succeed in whatever they set their minds to...the possibilities are endless! Some of my clientele include Nathaniel Arcand, Sgwe Productions (www.sgwe.com), Director General Productions, NCTV Productions Inc., Dakota House, Founder of the Going MILES Youth Society of Alberta (www.goingmiles.com), Stacy Da Silva, and the Indigenous Tae Kwan Do Association. If you wish to enquire about my services, please feel free to drop me a comment or an email - I look forward to meeting new people who want to MAKE things happen!! The only way to predict the future is to CREATE IT!On a more personal note, I'm a simple gal with simple life guidelines...respect your spirit, treat others like you want to be treated, and love to live! I love motorcycles, hot fast cars, beaches, Bruce Lee, heavy metal, rollercoasters and Greek food. I think Slash is amazing! He's my inspiration when I play guitar. Love playing pool, sitting by the pool, diving into the pool...oh yah, and I also love making breakfast, so if you're ever in the neighbourhood on the weekend, stop in for a nibble...;)
