Sono nato come punk-rocker.
Dal 1989 inizio a suonare la chitarra elettrica nei NIA PUNX, tra i primi a fare punk-hardcore in Calabria. Durante gli anni '90 calchiamo i palchi di tutta Italia insieme a Negazione, Kina, MDC, Contropotere, Nabat, Bambix, Jester Beast, Tremende, Distilleria '76, Vallanzaska, Los Fastidios, Melt, Punkreas, Headcrasher, Kartoons, Glacial Fear e molti altri.
Dal 1993 inizio ad apparire anche alla voce nei THC nati come side-project degli stessi NIA e fautori di un punk-rock più essenziale con un'intensa attività live a livello locale. Nel 1997 dalle ceneri dei THC rinascono i DRACULA DRIVERS, virando verso un suono dalle tinte horror, al tempo stesso melodico e aggressivo. Nello stesso anno la band realizza il demo RETURN OF LIVING DEAD.
Tra il 2002 e il 2003 la band autoproduce il demo omonimo DRACULA DRIVERS ben recensito dalla stampa specializzata e dalle fanzine. All'attivo decine di concerti con, tra gli altri, Raw Power, Meat For Dogs, Shandon, Mas Ruido, Killer Klown, Duff, From Outer Grave, Mudlarks.
La scoperta di un grande artista come Johnny Cash mi ha spinto ad affrontare una rilettura di alcuni brani, tratti dal suo repertorio, dei quali ho cercato di catturare lo spirito coniugandolo con l'attitudine punk.
Nel 2004, dopo un anno di preparazione sulle canzoni, nasce l'idea del tributo a Johnny Cash. Nel dicembre dello stesso anno va in onda sulle frequenze di Novaradio (FI) uno speciale realizzato in studio insieme a Valentine D.
Tra il 2005 e il 2006 iniziamo a portare in giro un live-set acustico in bilico tra country, blues e rock. Nello stesso periodo lavoriamo ad un disco tribute insieme agli amici della T2 Productions e della Fast Lap Records.
Nel giugno del 2006 esce ESCAPE FROM SAN QUENTIN - A TRIBUTE TO JOHNNY CASH, sulla nostra etichetta personale Mania Records, mentre continuano le date per portare ovunque la grande musica di Johnny e di altri autori compresi tra gli anni '50 e i giorni nostri.
Dal 6 al 9 luglio 2006 partecipiamo alla XVIII edizione del premio On The Road Festival di Pelago (FI) riservato agli artisti di strada. Nell'agosto 2006 tra le altre date regionali suoniamo ai festival Sonic Crash 4 (Sellia Marina, CZ) e Summer Rock (Davoli Superiore, CZ) con Meat For Dogs, Rushdown, Pink Triangle, Baby On A Green Sofa e altri. Il 19 agosto torniamo a Firenze per esibirci nell'ambito della rassegna Easy Living in piazza Santo Spirito.
Il 30 settembre 2006 partecipo da solo al V Raduno Rock cittadino organizzato da Radio Ciroma al Castello Svevo di Cosenza mentre il 10 dicembre 2006 sono a Catanzaro nell’ambito della rassegna Arte In Strada.
Il 30 gennaio 2007 aderisco al benefit Take Five 2007 (Teatro dell’Acquario, CS) insieme a mio fratello Manolo, attore. Per l’occasione il concerto diviene una performance basata su testi di Jack Rainsberger, Charles Bukowski, Joanne Kyger, Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs, Walt Whitman e brani di Johnny Cash, Glenn Danzig, Sonny Curtis, Bob Dylan, Barry McGuire, Bruce Springsteen, Stan Jones, Maybelle, Anita, June & Helen Carter.
L’1 giugno 2007 ritorno con Valentine per la seconda volta al CPA FI SUD (Firenze). Durante la serata viene proiettato il film culto “Johnny Cash in San Quentin†a seguire il concerto, rock-dj set a cura del CPA e jam session finale.
Nel luglio 2007 siamo di nuovo a Firenze e passiamo da Perugia mentre il 21 dello stesso mese partecipiamo al festival Note di Fuoco (Belvedere M.mo, CS) insieme ai siciliani Qbeta e il 28 siamo ospiti al Lamezia DemoFest MEI Sud. Il 6 agosto 2007 apriamo per The Hormonauts nell'ambito della rassegna Fuscaldo Sound ’07 (Fuscaldo, CS).
Il 21 agosto intervengo da solo alla rassegna di musica e teatro Le Arti del Gesto a Santa Severina (KR) alla presentazione del libro "Il calabrese che fece grande Bob Dylan" con un breve tributo allo stesso e con ESCAPE FROM SAN QUENTIN dal vivo.
Il 26 agosto partecipo al concerto Blues & Vento a Fagnano Castello (CS) insieme alla formazione locale AJ Blues Band. Oltre i rispettivi live-set la serata si conclude con una jam session.

I was born as punk-rocker.
Since 1989 I play as guitarist with NIA PUNX, calabrian hc prime movers. During the 90's we went all over Italy on a lot of live-shows in company of Negazione, Kina, Contropotere, Jester Beast, Tremende, Distilleria '76, Vallanzaska, Los Fastidios, Melt, Nabat, Punkreas, Bambix, MDC, Headcrasher, Kartoons, Glacial Fear and many more bands.
From 1993 I've played too with THC as lead vocals and guitarist. That band was a spartan punk-rock and it was born as side-project. In 1997 from the ashes of THC rises the DRACULA DRIVERS, horror-punk with a touch of melody. The same year we realized our first demo RETURN OF LIVING DEAD.
Between 2002 and 2003 we've produced our second demo DRACULA DRIVERS. We played many live-shows with bands like Raw Power, Mas Ruido, Shandon, Meat For Dogs, Killer Klown, Duff, From Outer Grave, Mudlarks and others.
Finally I discovered the music of Johnny Cash and then I tried to play some of his songs, with love and respect but a punk attitude. In 2004 grows the idea of a Johnny's tribute album. In December 2004 I've played my first new live-set with Valentine D at Novaradio in Firenze.
Between 2005 and 2006 we've played many live-shows between country, blues and acoustic rock all over Italy. With a group of our friends we've recorded ESCAPE FROM SAN QUENTIN - A TRIBUTE TO JOHNNY CASH.
In June 2006 my label Mania Records with the co-workers T2 Productions & Fast Lap Rec. had licensed the album then I've started with a tour to spread everywhere the great music of Johnny and other rock'n'roll stories.
From July 6 to 9 2006 I've played with my girlfriend Valentine at the XVIII edition of the On The Road Festival in Pelago near Firenze. In August 2006 we've played a lot of shows in the countryside at the Sonic Crash Festival in Sellia Marina and at the Summer Rock Festival in Davoli Superiore with Meat For Dogs, Rushdown, Pink Triangle, Baby On A Green Sofa and others. In August 19 we went back to Firenze to play at "Easy Living in piazza Santo Spirito".
In September 30 2006 I've played alone at the V Rock Fest organized by Radio Ciroma in the Cosenza's Castle then the 10 December 2006 I went to Catanzaro to play at the Arte In Strada festival.
January 30 2007 I've played still in my hometown with my brother Manolo for the benefit Take Five 2007. He’s an actor and we've made together a performance based on texts of Jack Rainsberger, Charles Bukowski, Joanne Kyger, Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs, Walt Whitman and songs of Johnny Cash, Glenn Danzig, Sonny Curtis, Bob Dylan, Barry McGuire, Bruce Springsteen, Stan Jones, Maybelle, Anita, June & Helen Carter.
June 1st 2007 me and Valentine turned back for the second time at CPA FI SUD in Firenze. After the cult movie “Johnny Cash in San Quentin†we've played a show and there were also rock-dj set and final jam session.
In July 2007 we've played again in Firenze and we went to Perugia for the first time then we've started a summer tour in our countryside. In July 21 we were at the Note di Fuoco festival (Belvedere, CS) then in July 28 we played at Lamezia DemoFest MEI Sud 2007. In August 5 we played as opening act with The Hormonauts at Fuscaldo Sound '07 (Fuscaldo, CS).
In August 21 I played alone at the music and theatre festival Le Arti del Gesto in Santa Severina (KR) with a short tribute to Bob Dylan (4 songs), supporting the presentation of a book dedicated to him, and with ESCAPE FROM SAN QUENTIN live.
In August 26 I played at Blues & Vento in Fagnano Castello (CS) with the AJ Blues Band and we played together a jam session.
