Welcome to Mr.Vernon's myspace page. He's a native of Newark,NJ seeded from a family full of musicians, preachers, singers,professional athletes,drawing artists and martial artists in just naming a few. Coming up in church, there was an instrument called the Hawaiian guitar. When the instrument was played, it made Vernon fickle as if he were playing.The Hawaiian guitar usually was played as a lead instrument. Then and now the trumpet barely existing in that perspective. But one day in his grandmother's kitchen, he seen a trumpet model on a box of a tape recorder;deciding that was the instrument that he wanted to play. That day on, he started his journey as a trumpet player at the age of 12. For his education, he attended Abington Ave.School, Essex County College, Music City, Artist Incorporated,Inc. to polish his art. Presently, he's attending the school of Great Musicians. From R&B/Jazz/Classical/Soul concerts to Church services to side walk sessions to Drum and Bugle Core has given him a pretty good vibe to be a musician for hire. On his spare time, he practice yoga. Vernon states," I believe peace in ones' self. For it is in God where refuge lies and through this form of exercise is where peace is released from him."
