LO SCRITTORE CHE AMAVA TUTTE LE DONNE

About Me

Someday a former-lover-to-be will write my non-authorized bio, and will choose “The Writer Who Loved All Women” as its title, because good and fine women have helped me become the man I am. My mother, my daughter and my ex wife; lovers, girlfriends and female friends and coworkers. I write because of a woman, my mother, who first introduced me to reading amazing stories when I was just a tot, and encouraged me to write stories of my own. A few of my women teachers in elementary and high school just kept feeding my love for words. My daughter, whose pictures appear in my photo gallery, has inherited my passion. I write about issues that I feel have to be written, whether they are spectacular or not. I have to put them either on plain paper or virtually. I have several notebooks and pens of different colors, but I don’t carry a tape recorder with me. I was born in Argentina, 1963, and I flew non-stop to Atlanta in 1998 to pursue my dream, and I've been living here ever since.I work as a producer/copyeditor/writer for a TV network. This job allows me to make a decent living while I focus on my journey as a storyteller.I want to reach out to other writers and readers and get their input on my work. This is very important to me because, as you can tell, English is not my first language yet I want to become a successful fiction writer in this language that I love so much.I consider blogging as the realization of a long time dream, that of being able to connect in real-time with fellow souls that are spread all over the world, thus confirming my belief that we are mere human beings. Despite our nationalities, ethnic groups or languages, we share hopes, fears, neuroses, joys and tears. Each of us is the incarnation of the Global Soul, whether we are aware of it or not. Many times it's hard to tell if it is the writing voice which echoes the pains and joys of the soul, or it is the writing soul that is seeking for a voice. We are made of so many layers, like a palimpsest, a manuscript that has been re-used by scrapping off the original text and writing over the top time and again. Blogging --the internet-- has made the promise of all great revolutions come true: we are all equal, without national boundaries, no central government, our voice matters, if only for a few people who are our readers, genuine friendship (or fraternity, as included in the motto of the French Revolution) can be made regardless of the great physical distance or the first language. This is liberating and good for mankind. It's good for your soul. It's good for your heart. It's good for your mind.My number one woman is my daughter Florencia. She ranks first in my life and also on myspace friends. As for my religious background, I was raised as Catholic, but in my late 30s I evolved into narcissism. Finally, a disclaimer. If you request me to add you as my friend, you must have something to say in your about me section in your profile. If you have more than one blog posting, the better. I want to maintain communication with myspace friends on a regular basis. So, if you have nothing to say then I won’t be able to communicate with you, to exchange views on life, art, love, passion and the examination of one's own existence.

My Interests

Books and movies. Travel. Restaurants. The female soul. These are some of my interests. I always strive to take them one step further..

I'd like to meet:

One day I am gonna meet Malin Akerman, Daryl Hannah, Eva Green, Monica Bellucci, Charlize Theron, Cameron Diaz and Rhona Mitra, not necessarily in that order. I also want to meet people with artistic inclinations. People who put art into their lives and life into their art. A female zoo keeper, a female soldier, a female teacher, a female fortune teller... Creative, fun, happy-go-lucky, care-free people. Also, I'd like to meet the woman I describe in one of my short stories: "He was feeling so disjointed, disoriented, discombobulated, when out of the blue this woman rushed by him, leaving a cool breeze that whiffed of melons, peaches and plums combined with a blend of orange flowers, soft sweet spices, violet and mimosa, and walked down to the bargain books section. She stood there, flashing in a purple drawstring top and knee-torn Abercrombie jeans. She stood there, Marcello experiencing a rare delight while looking at her flip-flop-wrapped feet, those feet that seemed to have been sculpted by the chisel of God. She stood there, giving a nonchalant glance at the bargains, her petite figure resembling a short model, not the Kate Moss waifish-type of model but Laetitia Casta, whose curvaceousness has been a subject of discussion in the world of fashion."
