This is my music space,
I've been writing tunes since i was 15 and djing for about 10 years. I've had a few records and remixes out on vinyl and I've been involved in every aspect of clubbing and running nights.
i've played all over europe and as far as japan and canada. Clubs and Festivals.
playing out i like to mix up electro/breaks/minimal/tech house with a few old classics thrown in. I like it deep and edgy, but it's got to be funky.
sometimes i leave the new stuff at home and take out a box of rare groove and funk.
on the radio show i co-host with Mini Da Minx, i've been having a lot of fun exposing my love of easy listening and exotica, a far cry from the bruising beats i'm known to play out clubbing.
i write my tunes with Cubase SX. i work pretty much alone, but when i can i try and work with like minded beat-heads, as it sometimes helps to actually finish stuff off if theres another human (and i use the term loosely when applied to my mates) involved.
but i do other shit.
i don't draw nearly half as much as i should, but when i do it comes out quite a comic style (not comic Ha Ha! - although that is probably a matter of opinion...)and i do seem to make a bit of a living out of graphic design (you want a flyer?) I have started another space to deal with my graphic output... see the art of wreckage.
