Born the 25th of May 1981 in Lyon (France), NELSON-RICHARD MOUKOUTA ELIMBI aka ADDISS IVORY ELIMBI is a singer/songwriter originally from Cameroon. To explain his name, Addiss (Represents Addis Ababa, Ethiopian Capital), Ivory (represents the elephant and consequently Africa), Elimbi (His Cameroonian Name). All about AFRICA. In 2001, aware of his talent and pushed by his surroundings, he decided to invest himself deeply into music, mainly as a Reggae/ Dancehall artist but also varying his style into Rnb, Hip Hop, Jazz and Soul... Raised in a Christian family, Addiss has always been blessed by prayers and firmly takes the BIBLE as its Guidance.
