Greetings, Blessings & welcome to the L.Slinga Ispace.L.Slinga's love for reggae started in the early 80s.
Influenced by the sounds of Saxon, Jah Shaka & David Rodigan to name a few.He started selecting from his school days at local community centres & house parties.In 1994 he ran his first successful monthly night.
Then over time he broke into London’s club scene, as well as becoming active in community radio.Over the years he’s played on & made mixes for many different radio stations.In 2005 he became involved in internet radio doing works for stations such as Black Roots Radio.In 2006, after years of making mixtapes he launched the Culture Drop Works Mixtape where he showcases the finest up & coming artists & studios in reggae today as well as featuring the artists we all know & love.At the heart of every Culture Drop Mix is the upholding of Rastafari teachings & livity.
The order of the works is to bring upliftment & strength in these serious times.The Culture Drop Mixtapes are distributed worldwide by www.reggaelutiononline.com The worlds leading reggae mixtape site based in Miami.In Jamaica they are distributed by Cassette Ninja among others.In the UK you can find the works at Dub Vendor Records & Regal Records & they can be found at many markets such as Camden.L.Slinga also makes promo riddim mixes for various recording studios worldwide, most recently producing mixes for Not Easy At All productions Amsterdam & Chop Chop productions Jamaica.I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE MOST THANKS TO ALL THOSE SUPPORTING THE WORKS & TO ALL THE ARTISTS & STUDIOS WHO I HAVE FEATURED & HAVE HAD THE GREAT HONOR OF WORKING WITH.
