Heroes:

This photo part of a series on the veil of Christ, that the painters were obliged to put, in spite of historical probability (the crucifixions were done naked in the Roman world). This veil appears suggestive for us, but it was not for the Church nor for the painters, who found simply here a space of personal expression.
