The SAFire Agency

About Me

My name is Brad Springs and SAFire is my brainchild. I grew up in and around Austin sneaking into venues I was way too young to be in because even at a very young age I was a fan of live music in all it's forms. As I grew in my travels I worked in bars around the area and even worked a spell down in Nawlins'. Home feels like home so upon my return to Wimberley I ran a venue that featured live music six nights a week that hosted some of in my opinion the best live music I've yet to see. It was one of those places where on open jam night Marc Benno or Jimmy Dale Gilmore might drop in to jam. I booked who I wanted to see and treated them like a true fan of the artists they are and not to mention as real friends. While I was in it for the music I found I really wasn't in it to be bartender and bouncer six nights a week. Upon the decision to "not" be in the bar buisness I was elected more than I really chose to be on purpose, the advocate for some folks that I loved to hear play and just downright loved as humans being. So hence the saga of The SAFire Agency was born. SAFire stands for Start A Fire and with all I've got that's the mission. To get my folks out in front of folks that will appreciate their music. By day I'm a not so mild mannered electrician for Wimberley ISD, Brad The Electrician-no relation to Matt The Electrician. By night I try like hell to be the guy that gets my bands the true recognition they deserve. Disclaimer. If you too are a rabid music fan turned booking dude you may one day have children that look like this. Pedro De' Python was not harmed in the taking of this picture. Peace, Love and Fire from....Brad, Shelby, Hailey,Hannah and Pedro too. May your world always rock.
