Originally the members of KRAKATU are old friends of each other. Founder Lex got the idea to form a band to use his own made songs. The band members are musicians from bands he played in before KRAKATU.
The magic connection has being achieved in June 2004.
KRAKATU, the name of the band, is a mixture of the volcano Krakatoa (Indonesia) that stands for strength and bridges the unnatural with the natural.
The music of KRAKATU is to define as powerful rock with blood-curdling riffs and beats in the style of ........Krakatu.
The voyage as a listener is one you may not miss.
In the first few months there was a fifth band member called Berry Alberts on keyboards. However the combination of work and the location of the studio did was not to combine with the rehearsal evenings. In the background Berry is the sound engineer like on the first demo called Helping Me.
In short a band with a progressive style who will profile it self in the near future!
