About Me

i grew up in east texas. my dad was a navy man and then a preacher man. neither profession made him a happy man. i stayed in my room and read books and listened to the radio with headphones so i wouldn't disturb him. i started playing the piano at 5 and started writing short stories when i was 12... songs came around 18. graduated high school then college then had several lost years of drinking way too much and being way too lost... moved to nashville to lose a habit and here i found a life. it is a good life. it is a sweet life. it is a happy life.

Influences: in elementary i discovered "imagine" by john lennon... and realized that music really can change someone's life... it did mine. i want to love music like i did at that moment... i want to love it like i love air.
