Tonya's been singing and writing country music for many years. After spending time in H.School and College performing on stages throughout the Midwest...she has gone back to her true destiny of writing songs...a destiny she realized after finding songs her mom saved in her elementary school scrapbook from when she was only 8 years old. "I've known since the 3rd grade what I wanted to do with my life." Tonya is a "performing songwriter." She has had the honor of performing her songs on stage with some amazing talents. She writes with some of Nashville's top writers and is known for her great ideas and lyrics. She believes that if you follow your destiny, somewhere along the way you will be fufilled. She is fulfilled everyday with the love of her family and being able to do what she's always dreamed of...writing and playing music. Tonya is a soulful writer - full of life and energy and determined to make a difference with her songs. She's always said, "If I won the lottery, I would still be doing what I am today. That's when you know you are in alignment with God's purpose for your life." Although her "roots" are Indiana, Tonya feels like Tennessee is the "soil" she is spiritually connected to. Tonya's dad is from Manchester, TN and her mom is from the coal mines of W. Virginia.
