About Me

I grew up listening to groups like The Eagles and The Beatles, I used to sit for hours and learn every harmony part to the songs. I also listened to artists like Johnny Cash, Roger Miller, George Jones, Vince Gill, Pure Prairie League, and George Strait. Country Music has always been a part of my life and I am sure that it always will be in the future...it is who I am. In High School I was involved in Choir and all of the school musicals. When I went to college I was interested in acting and as result was cast in several university plays and eventually cast on an episode of America's Most Wanted. After college I went to work in advertising for a radio station and eventually for Omnitech Systems Inc, a medical device manufacturer in Valparaiso Indiana. While working at Omnitech I stayed involved in music by joining the band Midnight Moonlight. Midnight Moonlight gave me the opportunity to travel around and gain valuable experience in front of audiences. One particular show with Midnight Moonlight set my future in motion. I was playing the Mint Festival in North Judson Indiana and at the end of the show I met Wayne Thomas Zank Jr. Wayne lived in North Judson and decided to come down to see live music. Wayne was also a singer, song-writer, and an excellent musician. We began writing together and after about a year of production, we sent our songs to Nashville. We received several responses from companies such as Major Bob Publishing, MCA Records, Capitol Management, and Cubbyhole Records. Eventually we decided to take the songs out in the form of a band and Hoosier Highway was created. Hoosier Highway speaks for itself in the pictures on my website and those on the Hoosier Highway site. If we have performed for you in our travels...thank you for coming out to our show. I recently left Hoosier Highway to spend more time with my family...lbum/slideshow/wrapper_viewshow.gif" style="float:right;border-width: 0;"

My Interests

Music:

Band Members:Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others

Influences: Vince Gill, Lonestar, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, The Eagles, Hank Williams, Roger Miller
