Tammi Cartwright is a formidable new British Jazz artist with a world class voice and classic contemporary songs.
She started singing at five and was on the road with her father's band from seven. TV appearances with Michael Aspel, Barrymore and Star for a Night were early signs of a serious talent unfolding and by twenty she was the featured singer on the major Darude hit "Out of Control".
Working alongside Darude took Tammi to New York, Canada and Ibiza, where she performed with Pete Tong live and was managed through Mission Control.
But Tammi longed to return to her musical roots and started to write classic Jazz numbers and big band tracks, steeped in the memories of her early years.
The tracks here and on her website - www.tammicartwright.com - are the first available from her debut release "Tammi Cartwright - Original Sound Recordings".
