A CROSS BETWEEN KATHLEEN TURNER AND SATAN - Trent Reznor AND I DO NOT CHECK MYSPACE VERY OFTEN...

About Me

Not that it of any spectacular relevance, but I am 46 years old, and live in Los Angeles California. There have been several incarnations of me – 1980 – 1995 I was a talent manager, working with some of who I consider the most unique, visionary artists: Carter Tutti, Foetus, Diamanda Galas, Killing Joke, Faith No More, Monster Magnet, Nine Inch Nails, Orbital, Michael Kamen - there’s a long list, and I’m honored to have had the time with these creative souls. In 1996 I left the business, and New York, to follow my heart to London. That didn’t work out as I had hoped, and I returned to America, landing in Los Angeles, and at a museum of contemporary art where for 5 years I was the creative director. A remarkable challenge – designing for a museum, which represents artists – working around great artworks to embellish through word and graphics. After 5 years there, I decided to take another diversion – life has so many options if we decide to see them – and took my lifelong hobby of gardening and interest in global ecology, and formed an environmental design company, and I now design for both residential and commercial clients who want unique, earth friendly living and breathing space. I also spend time as a mentor at an underserved LA high school. Teaching kids about options other than those thrust at them by a school system that doesn’t seem to care. I continue to dabble in the music and art world, and am currently working on a global art installation slated for 2008, as well as a non-profit arts organization focusing on the nexxus of art and music. Kindness and honesty towards others and respect for the earth are two of my primary concerns as I spend my time on this planet, and I enjoy the company of like-minded people. Creativity and an unusual perspective are paramount. I adore words, images, music, hiking, the ocean, the mountains, snow, sand, and animals. Tea and coffee are good too, as are shoes, boots, and socks, a non-smoker, I am a big advocate of nicotine gum :-) (I personally recommend Habitrol). PLEASE NOTE this note no one reads: Although I spent many years with bands, and have a number of musician friends, I AM NOT COLLECTING BANDS ON MYSPACE so please understand this. Also, I AM NOT LOOKING FOR ROMANCE ON MYSPACE. Sorry, ladies and gentlemen, but my hands are full :-) If you would like to add me to your MySpace friends list, consider sending me an email telling me about why we should be "friends".I have made some wonderful connections here, but not through indiscriminate acceptance.
You Belong in Amsterdam
A little old fashioned, a little modern - you're the best of both worlds. And so is Amsterdam.
Whether you want to be a squatter graffiti artist or a great novelist, Amsterdam has all that you want in Europe (in one small city). What European City Do You Belong In?

I'd like to meet:

Gaudi + Buddha. It's easier to say I am NOT interested in people who are merely collecting prolific MySpace numbers. I actually consider this a method of communication between existing friends and new people I have had the pleasure of meeting through this medium. I take umbrage at those who are merely seeking accolades and are not willing to reciprocate either through art, music, or the written word. "Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born." -Anaïs Nin

A moment in time.

Of late, I have exhibited sloth-like tendencies. Not in the normal three-toed fashion, but in the fact that I have allowed my life to overtake my life. Curious, as generally I am quite capable of ha...
