He is known for his passion of expressing his thoughts through poetry and hip hop lyrics. Arthur Carter A.K.A A.C A.K.A. A Dot has a vision of becoming a legendary artist with a sound and a message that transcends worldwide. He resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he received a Bachelor of Science in Markerting at Southern University. He made a sound decision to complete college before pursuing his dream of becoming an entrepreneur in the music industry. He was aware that the power of knowledge with his vision for success would be a winning combination. His strong work ethic is shown through his daily commitment in his current job. The management skills being obtained are preparing him for success in the future.
He built a home based studio where he has acquired the ability to record, mix and master records using analog and digital recording equipment. He created the studio because of his love of music and the energy he finds by listening to different rhythms and sounds. He meticulously works on producing a quality product for himself and other new artists. He gives new artists a place to find and enhance their own sound. He wants to be known by the music industry as being reliable, flexible and dedicated in completing a product in a timely manner. He hopes through his continued projects that he creates a buzz in the music industry of being a respected sound engineer with the ability to produce. He work with a various programs such as pro-tools to expand his knowledge in order to work in TV, Radio, Imaging and Film projects.
One of his hip-hop collaborations was chosen to be aired on the number one Hip-Hop and R&B station in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He has also performed at poetry local clubs. He is an avid reader of non-fiction and has traveled extensively, with the most memorable trip being to Africa. His readings and travels have expanded his views about world issues. He expresses many of his views these through his poetry and rap. He is dedicating his life to become known as a skilled master in his art.
He is co-founder of Strong Arm Entertainment which is Limited Liability Corporation formed to promote upscale adult parties in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area, with profits being used to help fund community services. He is currently planning on publishing a magazine geared to attract an audience looking for a perfect blend of good reading. The initial market base will be in the Southern states with the intent to expand as readership increases.
Arthur is determined to leave a positive mark in history, not just through his creative ability, but as a man of strong conviction whose presence makes a difference universally.
