Many times I have just defined myself as a single mom. It has been my identity for over 8 years. But there is so much more to me than that. I love my kids! They are a blessing and joy to me. But, who I am, who I am now, has been developed through trials, joy, adventure, pain and the hand of God guiding, protecting and holding me.
From the time I was a small child, I knew God had a plan for my life. I have always dreamed of being a missionary and having a positive impact on the world around me. As a child, I promised the Lord that I would always serve Him
no matter what happens in my life. Well, this has been tested in many ways and several times over my life. I am enjoying the discovery of what God has for me.
Each day is bringing new, exciting things. My life is never dull. I go through things that I don't think most "normal" people go through. I always bring it back to that promise I made as a child...I will always serve you, Lord, no matter what!! My desire is that the challenges I have had throughout my life can be used to encourage others. That you can see that God can help you through the
darkest of days and bring you into the light! That you can be a strong person who still can love and give of yourself! That you are a precious gift and you are a part of a bigger plan than what you may think!

TWO FRIENDS WERE WALKING
THROUGH THE DESERT.
DURING SOME POINT OF THE
JOURNEY THEY HAD AN
ARGUMENT AND ONE FRIEND
SLAPPED THE OTHER ONE
IN THE FACE.THE ONE WHO GOT SLAPPED
WAS HURT, BUT WITHOUT
SAYING ANYTHING,
WROTE IN THE SAND:TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.THEY KEPT ON WALKING,
UNTIL THEY FOUND AN OASIS,
WHERE THEY DECIDED
TO TAKE A BATH.THE ONE WHO HAD BEEN
SLAPPED GOT STUCK IN THE
MIRE AND STARTED DROWNING,
BUT THE FRIEND SAVED HIM.AFTER HE RECOVERED FROM
THE NEAR DROWNING,
HE WROTE ON A STONE:TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SAVED MY LIFE.THE FRIEND WHO HAD SLAPPED
AND SAVED HIS BEST FRIEND
ASKED HIM, "AFTER I HURT YOU,
YOU WROTE IN THE SAND AND NOW,
YOU WRITE ON A STONE, WHY?"THE OTHER FRIEND REPLIED
"WHEN SOMEONE HURTS US
WE SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN
IN SAND WHERE WINDS OF
FORGIVENESS CAN ERASE IT AWAY.
BUT, WHEN SOMEONE DOES
SOMETHING GOOD FOR US,
WE MUST ENGRAVE IT IN STONE
WHERE NO WIND
CAN EVER ERASE IT."LEARN TO WRITE
YOUR HURTS IN
THE SAND AND TO
CARVE YOUR
