After God's Heart

I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't , than live my life

About Me

I am not very good at describing one's appearance, so when it comes to myself I tend to abide by the old computer term of WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). Therefore, my pictures can speak for me here. Now, for some of my inner qualities.
To begin with, I have good manners and morals because my mother raised me properly. I am also understanding, caring, honest and a very good listener. Moreover, I believe, and have been told, I have a great personality and sense of humor (a bit sarcastic at times). Meaning, if you can dish it out, you had better be able to take it equally as well.
Furthermore, I have no trouble laughing at and/or making fun of myself, and I try to make the best of any situation and enjoy life as much as possible. We only have one, and it's far too short to spend it being a constant stick in the mud. However, when the circumstances call for it, I know when to be mature and take things seriously. Simply stated, I know how to take charge when it's needed and when to step back if I am out of bounds.
Moreover, I don't concern myself with the past because it's unchangeable, and I don't worry about the future because I can't predict it. Only God knows what my future holds, and I live each day by faith and trusting in Him because I know He only wants the best for me (spiritually, physically and financially). Meaning, I carry my Cross daily, not just Sunday.
That being said, I believe my God given ability to confront challenges head on and overcome them no matter what it takes is the one virtue that gives me my drive and self-confidence. Additionally, that very same ability allows me to set high goals for myself and do my very best to achieve them because I know "I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]." - Philippians 4:13 (AMP)
I would not change anything about myself or my life because to do so would change who I am and what I have become. I consider everything I have experienced throughout my life (good and bad) as learning experiences that have led to positive results as well as future successes and opportunities. I know this to be true because my faith in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost tells me there is a purpose for everything and everyone, and that everything happens for a reason.
This, in turn, is why I further believe it's not what happens to each of us in our lives that matters, but rather how we react to what happens. When we react to things in the right way, even a bad event can have a positive outcome. Always see the glass as half full. Overall, I am a better and stronger person today because my focus is now on God and "His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right)" - Matthew 6:33 (AMP) instead of my own personal self-interest.
As far as relationships are concerned, I am a true romantic and find confidence and intelligent conversation to be very alluring and sexy. I love to kiss and be kissed, wrapped up in a warm embrace with that wonderful feeling of skin-on-skin. I believe friendship, communication, honesty, trust, respect and romance are key elements in a successful relationship. These heart-centered, inner aspects are the bond that will keep the relationship loving, strong and thriving long after the outer beauty and body fades.

My Interests

Strengthening and growing in my walk with God and my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Meeting new friends, being a good listener for those friends and lending a cyber shoulder to cry on should any of those friends need it.

I'd like to meet:

In regards to finding that special someone, I would be interested in getting to know and befriending (you have to be friends first and foremost) a beautiful, Christian woman, and I don't just mean on the outside. Certainly, her outer beauty is what might draw me to her, but her inner beauty and depth of character will keep me interested much longer. She is someone who is confident and her own person.

She is honest, intelligent, a good communicator and has a great sense of humor... as well as open-minded and able to accept me for who I am. I guess one could say I am searching for the same thing as everyone else... that ever so elusive diamond in the rough. A woman that when I look at her, the beauty I see in and behind her eyes turns me on as much as her body does.

I know what I just described probably comes across as being picky or seeking perfection. However, my quest is not for perfection, but lifetime compatibility. Someone to spend, share and enjoy the rest of my life with. I believe we all have a soul-mate, and none of us should settle for anything or anyone less than what we are seeking. He or she is out there somewhere. It just takes time, patience and God's guidance in order to find the right one.

Therefore, until that beautiful, precious gem of a woman I am looking for is unearthed, I am going to spend my time meeting new and interesting people who have similar interests as myself. Simply put, I am here to meet and get to know people and hopefully make some new friends along the way. Perhaps even a cyber shoulder to cry on every now and then. If you did read this far (because most don't), I want to thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. May God bless you with whatever it is you are searching for.

"But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired." - Isaiah 40:31 (AMP)
