About me...okay, what should I say? I find it fascinating - first of all - that I even have a my space page...but that's another conversation. So, who am I? I'm a woman who loves God, her family, and her friends. (I only count a few as friends.) I love to read and I love to write - that's a good thing since I write novels for a living. I like to think of myself as a woman who has the wisdom of time, the attitude of youth and a body that lies about its years. That's me!

My Interests

Besides reading and writing, I love to workout, play golf, travel. My favorite cities are London, New York, Paris, San Francisco. (Funny, I don't live in any of those places.)

Upcoming Tour Dates
Well, my page has said that I've been on vacation - well, that's not completely true. I've worked hard in 2007, completed three novels: one adult and two teens. Will give you more on all of that later. But, for the holidays, I'll be working on my 2009 books.

Love R&B mostly.

Movies:

Favorite movie of ALL time: It's a Wonderful Life! (So glad it's Christmas time so I can watch it over and over and over again.) Love other movies too, but I think I have ADD. It's hard to sit still for anything (well, almost anything) for three hours.

Television:

I start out watching very little TV and then get hooked on programs by friends. I loved Commander in Chief (alas, it's cancelled.) Grey's Anatomy (Thanks Lo!) And I hate to admit it, but America's Top Model (E. Lynn's fault!) But most of all, I'm a news junkie, give me CNN, MSNBC and every Prime Time, Dateline, 60 Minutes...and I'm happy!

Books:

Manchild in the Promise Land (was better when I read it at fourteen - made the mistake of rereading it), Native Son, Black Boy. My favorite contemporary books: A Long Way From Home, Child of God, Freshwater Road, and a new one, Abraham's Well...
