I'd like to meet:

Pastor Myrondous A. Washington is a native of Opelika, Alabama and began his walk with the Lord at a very early age. He was called to preach at the young age of 16, but continued to flee this mandate until the age of 19 when he surrendered and preached his initial sermon on Sunday, July 14, 1996.

Shortly afterwards, he formed a local men’s fellowship, Resurrected Men of Christ, which grew leaps and boundaries over the course of the year that he served as President. In May of 1998, he was called to be the Senior Pastor at Little Baptist Hill Church in Rutledge, Alabama, and remained there for a period of three years. Under his leadership the church’s membership more than quadrupled in the first year and the church underwent a complete renovation and expansion to accommodate the only significant growth in the history of the church. .

In December 2000, he was called to the New Mountain Top Baptist Church to serve as their Assistant Pastor and he remained in this position until July of 2004 when he became the Senior Pastor. During his brief leadership at New Mountain Top, the church experienced tremendous growth, lives were forever changed, youth and adults alike were saved.

However, having heard God speak to him in 1997 concerning the planting of Agape Temple, the fear of failure and rejection paralyzed him from stepping out on faith. Nevertheless, not being able to ignore the voice of God any longer, in January 2006, amidst the same fears, gossip, and lack of capital, he decided that God’s voice was louder than it all and he stepped out on faith. Since that time, Agape Temple is continuing to experience rapid growth under the leadership of Pastor Washington with a vision of “Loving the lost to the Lord”.

Pastor Washington is a dedicated husband, pastor, and friend. He is much loved by all that have the privilege to meet him and with a plethora of talents to be desired by many, he remains humble and grateful that God has entrusted him with such awesome gifts. He is a highly sought after conference speaker, revivalist, psalmist, and teacher and is currently studying at Beulah Heights Bible College in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also anticipating the release of his first book, “Ten Commandments to Surviving Life’s Storms” which is sure to be a best seller. Pastor Washington is unquestionably an instrument being used by God for this season.
