Tommaso Rolando has some musical and non-musical projects, among which Calomito ( record out in 2005 with Megaplomb ) , Paravellar e Mamut ( free-improvisation bands with Voci Atroci and Viclarsen members ), the music for "Il volo di Kengah" with Bruno Coli, Katatonistan Circus (music and clownerie ), and the thight live season 2002-2003 with the trio Al Ice in Bauberland ( turbo-psycho-jazzstandards with Luca Abrecht Praussello on vocal slaughtering ), the music for 3 short movies from Francesca Capra, the music with Federico Pitto for the long movie "La ragazza della grande casa", free-improvisation groups with Alessandro Buzzi, Claudio Parodi, Davide Piersanti; the trio "Toba" with Patrizia Oliva and Marco Ravera with a record going out, the Aparecidos project with argentinian musicians Santiago and Facundo Moreno with Santo Florelli and Mattia Tommasini, the live music with the children theatre show of Teatro del Piccione "Mi mangio la luna", winner of the prize "Il gioco del teatro 2005", a tour in Russia with Ochestra Bailam, and his solo project "Stoni" modulating his double-bass sound through several "trouble" boxes. Finally his new post-digito-sovietist impro-trio project with Jacopo Giacchino (TantoTempo) and Nicola Magri (K.C. Milian and Sensasciou), called "Soyuz".
