The Blast'em were born in Naples, Italy in October 2004. The band was founded by Mario and Marco, who, ever friends, had already played together in other bands. The first formation included Mario as guitar player and voice, Marco as bass player and voice, Michele was the other guitar player and Antonio "the pigeon" played the drums. They recorded a demo and an album called "Never like you" entirely automade, but the two founders weren't really convinced about the band, they wished a united band, where members were friends too and the too many quarrels with Michele and the lacking of seriousness of Antonio obliged them to look for two new members. They had played with another drummer in former times for a band who made Rancid's covers; he was Antonio "Disaster" and they called him. Disaster introduced a new guitar player: Gianluca.
The new Blast'em knew a little notoriety playng a lot of live and got the agreements from all the punk scene of the zone.
In May 2006 the Blast'em recorded a new demo "De(mo)struction, with wich they hope to come out from the local scene.
The bands who mostly influence the Blast'em are with no doubt : Rancid, Bad religion, US bombs, Lars Frederiksen & the Bastards, Clash, Ramones Forgotten, UK subs, and Time Again.
