I am the "Voice of Reason" better known as James Whale the British radio and television broadcaster. I've presented late night phone in programmes on UK radio for several decades, starting on Metro Radio in Newcastle upon Tyne where I was the original presenter of the Nightowls Late Evening Phone-In show from the station's launch date in 1974. I later moved to Radio Aire in Leeds and at one time my radio programme was televised simultaneously.
I currently host a regular phone-in show on talkSPORT from Sunday to Thursday from 10pm-1am. Call me on 08704 20 20 20 but if I don't like you I'll cut you off.
