About Me

ClarkStreet began in 2001 as an average 4 piece pop punk band from northern New Jersey. With the recent addition of Jon Longley on drums, joining Dave Flores (Vocals, Guitar), Rob Piccininni (Bass, Vocals) and Brian Grego (Guitar, Vocals), They are now anything but that. Today ClarkStreet can be described as an edgy group of talented musicians who play a unique brand of vocal driven, punk influenced rock with melodic pop hooks in every song. Their incorporation of three part vocal harmonies not only adds depth to their aggressive sound but also serves as a defining characteristic in an otherwise stagnant (and boring) music scene. In their 5 year history, the band has been playing non stop throughout their homestate in addition to a few east coast tours as main support for national acts like Day at the Fair and MC Lars. Over this time they’ve gained quite a bit of popularity through a widely distributed 5 song demo. ClarkStreet has also shared the stage in their tri state area with bands such as My Chemical Romance, Bigwig, The Lawrence Arms, Vision, None More Black and many others. With their recently recorded, 6 song EP entitled “Stage theory”, on the way, the guys are already hard at work writing a follow up full length album and planning a national tour. So while it’s already been 5 years in the making of this New Jersey quartet, they see this as only the beginning because they are exactly where they want to be. As they sing in their song Blacks and Blues, “Hats off to patience, honey…”
