About Me

I've loved both veterinary medicine and writing, ever since I was a kid reading every animal book I could get my hands on. Vet med won out for a good long while, but after nine years of college and seven years in full-time practice, the writing decreed that IT MUST BE HEARD. My first novel for young adults, TALLULAH FALLS, was published by BloomsburyUSA in May 2006.Currently, I'm writing my second novel while practicing veterinary medicine part-time.Read an excerpt of TALLULAH FALLS, take a photo tour, and browse my blog at www.christinefletcherbooks.com.
