PAWS TO HELP YOU PET SITTING SERVICE ***PETS ARE FAMILY, AND FAMILY NEEDS LOVE***%D%A%D%A%D%A %D%A%D%A%D%A%D%A Layout made by jackiesc %D%A****PAWS TO HELP YOU- JEN (561-674-7769****%D%A----SERVING BOYNTON BEACH, DELRAY, BOCA RATON, DEERFIELD,AND POMPANO BEACH FLORIDA----%D%AI'm a 28 year old, single mother of a 2 1/2 year old boy named Odin. I've loved animals my whole life, and constantly bothered my family by always bringing home strays. I've always been this way. I'm an active member of PETA, as well. I am hoping to meet other animal lovers to chat with and hopefully some potential clients. I've worked at different animal hospitals, and even an avian clinic. So its no suprise that I wanted to work more with animals. In fall of '03 I wanted to start my pet sitting business, but with the unexpected (but wonderful) news I was expecting...well let's just say my business would have to remain a dream. In June of '04, Odin was born (11lbs 2oz) a month early. And in Aug. '05 I finally started my business. Slow at first, but picking up. (To request PAWS TO HELP YOU to sit for your pets, please leave me a message.) You can also call 561-674-7769--------------------I'm also a huge music lover, and I love throwing little parties so friends and family (and the kid's) can have fun. I like to travel, though since Odin was born, we haven't been to too many distant places. However last March, I took him to see his Grandpa Mike(a total biker aswell) in Phoenix, Az. While we were there we went to the Grand Canyon, and that was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Enough about me for now, any thing else you'd like to know, just ask... Have a good one!!

"Whether it's dogs, cats, fish or rats, I make sure my clients are very satisfied."%D%A%D?ccording to Anderson, who is also employed at Boca-based Kelly & Cohen's Broad St. Deli, she had thought of starting a pet care service for the longest time. The idea became even more prominent after the birth of her child in 2004.%D%A%D?fter coming up with a company name, Anderson began handing out flyers to customers of Kelly & Cohen's-as well as family and friends-that advertised the new service.%D%A%D%A"A lot of people showed interest and asked me if I could take care of their pets when they left for vacation," Anderson said. "It really took off and I began having a good number of regular customers."%D%A%D%AThese days, Paws to Help You has about 19 customers from Pompano Beach to Lake Worth who often use her assistance.%D%A%D%AShe also gets pet sitting requests from those individuals having heard about the service due to positive word-of-mouth.%D%A%D%A"I get most of my business from people who have found out what I do because other clients strongly recommend me," Anderson said. "Since many of my clients are also Kelly & Cohen's, they know me well enough so that they're not afraid of me being in their homes by myself."%D%A%D?nderson points out that she is available any day of the week for any pet-related duties her clients need to have performed.%D%A%D%A"I'm pretty flexible. For instance, if someone wants to have his dog walked three times a day, I can do that," she said. "For payment, I'll charge either per day or per visit. It also depends on what kind of animal it is as well."%D%A%D%AIn terms of advertising, Anderson plans to run an ad in the next edition of the "Pet Yellow Pages" for distribution in various pet stores and doctor's offices. She additionally hopes to put up a company website soon.%D%A%D%AUltimately, Anderson's goal is to run Paws to Help You as a full-time operation from her house.%D%A%D%A"You always see services for helping the homeless or to feed the poor. It's rare, though, to see something that caters to pets like this," Anderson said. "I want to show people that I can care for their pets like they were mine."%D%A%D%A%D?ontact Corey Siggins at 561-549-0845 or at [email protected] ..

"I've worked at animal hospitals and groomers. Eventually, I wanted to start a business of my own."%D%A%D%AHow has it worked out? "It's getting there," she said. She serves the area from Boynton Beach to Pompano Beach - and often shuttles back and forth from northern Broward to South Palm Beach counties.%D%A%D%AWalking and sitting for pets is growing nationwide, the result of an American work force that spends hours - or miles - away from their beloved pets. Several support services have developed around the need to provide places to keep dogs when the owner leaves - but can't take the pet with them.%D%A%D%ASometimes, owners use informal networks of support, such as friends, family members and neighbors who can take care of the dog during the day, say to feed or walk them. Alternatively, owners who can't or prefer not to use such informal services have other options - ranging from hiring someone in the neighborhood or a professional dog walking and care service to arranging for dog care at work to boarding the dog at a local kennel for the day. %D?s she went about her rounds, Anderson said that cats are usually easier to take care of than dogs. "It's mostly food, water, clean the litter box and spend about 20 minutes with them, that's all," she said.%D%A%D%AShe did recall that one cat owner required Anderson to give her feline a slice of American cheese every day. Some of the canines get doggie ice cream at their owners' behest. She visits with dogs two or three times a day.%D%A%D?nderson said she has never had problems with pets - or humans. "I make it a point to meet with the people and their animals."%D%A%D?t her home, which still lacks screens - the result of last year's hurricane - a wild cat and a raccoon have visited her. A baby bird recently dropped in. "I had to drive it to State Road 84 to the SPCA."%D%A%D?ale M. King can be reached at 561-549-0832 or at [email protected]. %D%A%D%A .. %D%A%D%A%D%A......
