Kindly stop sending me your catalogs of discontent.

About Me

Bristol: life tourist. I'm blessed with many wonderful friends and family. Sure there is more in life, but the more is less without those things. Sometimes I respect the ongoing pursuit of knowledge more than complacency and the possession. Now, please try not to be an asshole. Yeah, that would be great. Thanks.NOTE: I will not be going to Los Angeles anytime soon on the account of my diarrhea or fear of it on the freeway. The truth is pretty.

My Interests

My angels/dogs. Animals. Spirituality not religion. Being as unfunny as possible. Nature. Animism. God. Cultural consciousness. Genuinely kind people. My coffee table Yoda. And loving you of course.

I'd like to meet:

The humble ones will always win my heart. And genuine nonconformists, too. Anyone who spends less than an hour a week online, especially anyone NOT on myspace. And anyone willing to add more khaki to their daily attire - it's underrated. People brave enough to stand alone even when the world shakes its head. Strong & secure women. Agape lovers who actually understand what that means and believe in thought(s)wrapped up in action/process. Those who are far less interested in aesthetics choosing the mind & heart as the true canvas for beauty.

Music:

Fischerspooner, Regina Spektor, Icarus Witch, Mothers of Invention, Sontiago, Gary S, Frank the Baptist, Eagles of Death Metal, Lance Palmer (dead rebels), Good Riddance, Nick Cave & the Bad seeds, Leonard Cohen, Minutemen, Bowie, Billy Bragg, John Lee Hooker, The Dead Milkmen, Simon & Garfunkel, Peter, Paul & Mary, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Tommy Lee, Love & Rockets, Postal Service, 7 Seconds, The Beatles, Metric, Mirah, Beck, Queen, Horror Pops, The Smiths, Jack Johnson, Tom Waits, Elton John, Billy Corgan, Smashing Pumpkins, TV on the Radio, Zappa, Screeching weasel, Def Leppard, Syd Barrett, Flunk, Duran Duran, Cat Stevens, Bender, Ben Lee, Air, Bauhaus, The Stones, AFI, Dylan, NOFX, Nancy Griffith, Heather Nova, Carla Bruni, Ozzy, Sublime. Ramones, Modest Mouse, Link Wray, Bender, Ani Difranco, Iron Maiden, D.O.A, The Megnetic Fields, New Order, Joy Divison, Devo, Stan Getz, Felix Da Housecat, Bloc Party, Tenacious D, Serge Gainsbourg, Fugazi, etc. Lists are futile, really. Music rules my life! It often devours my soul & regurgitates it for the unimaginative & cavalier. My late night lover may just be your song. So, please, sing to me. Open your ears to the lyrical bliss we are all inept to express at various times. Music & my dogs especially, have kept me a lively six feet above ground.

Movies:

LOVE MOVIES - slightly obsessed. Off the top of my head: Riding Giants, My own Private Idaho, Happiness, Straw Dogs, Wings of Desire, Shop Girl, Boogie Nights, Love Actually, Valley Girl, Virgin Suicides, Stander, Guys & Dolls, About a Boy, Ghost Dog, What the bleep do we know, Orkly Kid, Grand Theft Parsons, Secretary, Waking the Dead, The Meaning of life (monty python), Heavyweights, Grizzly Man, Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice(amazing movie), Rubin & Ed, The Rachel Papers (I have huge thing for Ione Skye), East of Eden, Beerfest, Rushmore, Drowning Mona, The Tao of Steve, Dazed & Confused, Blow, Fight Club, Bartleby, Naked Lunch, The Corporation , Welcome to the Dollhouse, Alice's Restaurant, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, Elizabeth Town, Five Easy Pieces, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Bicycle Thief, Steal this movie, Leaving Las Vegas, Wild at Heart, Fight Club, Harvey, East of Eden, Harold & Maude, M Butterfly w/Jeremy Irons, The River's Edge, Easy Rider, Cinema Paradiso, On the Waterfront, The Graduate, Torch Song Trilogy, etc. I'm leaving many out I'm sure. Filmmakers/directors: John Waters, Fellini, Stacy Peralta, PTA, Peckinpah, Wes Anderson, David Lynch, Edward Burns, Tim Burton, Paul Thomas Anderson, Woody Allen, John Hughes; Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, Todd Solondz (except for his latest, Jack Johnson, Jean-Luc Godard, Mike Nichols, Gus Van Sant, Elia Kazan, Jim Jarmusch,Ingmar Bergman, Mike White, Wim Wenders, Mike Figgis, etc. Most anything with Ryan Gosling, Jack Nicholson & Philip Seymour Hoffman - they are astounding actors. www.bmwusa.com/bmwexperience/films - love the one with James Brown & Marilyn Manson

Television:

The History Channel.

Books:

What about the section for favorite foods? Or mode of transportation? Chips and salsa, no doubt. And I prefer European cars and my scooter. And naturally all books on the aforementioned. Does Rupert Murdoch and his henchmen care about what books I read? Actually, they'd probably prefer just to eyesdrop as they peruse the place for key words to distract themselves from the mirror of their unfortunate souls. Oh, and in some foreign lands, books are eaten rather than read for accelerated learning.

Heroes:

I DON'T REALLY BELIEVE IN "HEROES." HOWEVER, I TRULY ADMIRE PEOPLE WHO CAN SPEAK THEIR TRUTH/THEIR MINDS EVEN IF IT MAY OFFEND SOMEONE. NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO SPEAK COURAGEOUSLY.Elie Wiesel ( The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity ) And my four dogs: Kieffer, Comet, Gemini, and Gavin.Well, Sometimes I think the real heroes are the ones who make us laugh. I find humor keeps me sane. If ever I must truly go, let me go in laughter, darling reaper. img src="http://img.freecodesource.com/images/promote/clickhere. gif" border="0" alt="Click Here
