Rave On

Rave On is Rockin band all the way from Finland. We play some mean rock'n'roll & rockabilly & rhythm'n'blues. The band started in early 90's, and has backed up such a greats like Rosie Flores, Sonny Burges and Sleepy Labeef.The current line up has two original members (Markku Salo & Jari Pekkola) and two new members (Marko Luhtala & John Wayne), but during the past 15 years there has been few other players too: Tiia Vanhatapio was one of the very few Rockabilly female singers in Finland during the early 90's, Ola Turro played lead guitar for years with Rave On, he's now with the Nashville Bum. Next lead man was Timo Luostarinen, who has played with many Rockin bands, including Fortune Teller, The Jokers and Van Go. There has been also two other bass players, Japi Saario (Jim & The Dunlops, Nashville Bum) and Rami Soini, who now leads great rockabilly trio called Flatbroke Trio.
