The only problem with when you are The Moon, like me, is you have such a Chalky White Face it makes

About Me

Hello. My name is Jonathan. I like music rather a lot. I spend way too much time dreaming and reading.Ive finally found my comfort zone again, after too fucking long in the psychic wilderness after a bad experience. I was due to start an MA at Sheffield university in September but decided to concentrate on my writing instead.

My Interests

Mainly music, writing, 'zine-ing, cycling, daydreaming, my degree, Celtic, Norse, and Germanic mythology and culture, among other things. But dont like football, which makes me narrow-minded(apparently). Apart from that, waaaay too many to list.

I'd like to meet:

Henry Rollins, Lou Koller, Lemmy (already done!), Devin Townsend, Fred Nietzsche, Neil Gaiman, Laura Pleasants, Odin, Ursula Le Guin, Pig Champion, & Jerry Lee Lewis

Music:

My very, very favourite band, Sick of it All Also recently, I'm really into Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Portishead, Cephalic Carnage, Envy, Radiohead, the Cinematic Orchestra, Shpongle, Cursed, Ozric Tentacles, Nasum, Autechre, Today is the Day, Soilent Green, Kill Your Idols, Despised Icon, Ion Dissonance, Textures, Anaal Nathrakh, Between the Buried and Me, Ion Dissonance, Morbid Angel, Disfear, His Hero Is Gone, Genghis Tron, Porcupine Tree, Motorhead, Broken Social Scene, The Ocean Collective, Squarepusher, Rotten Sound, The Sword, Bane, Kylesa, Earth, Anathema, Meshuggah, Amebix, Annihilation Time, Om, Caustic Christ, Skitsystem, Marconi Union, & Chris Clark. Got a bit of a thing for certain Manowar songs too.

Movies:

My favourite film of all time - Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, along with anything and everything else Hayao Miyazaki's so much as touched with his pinky finger. Other films I rather like a lot include the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Easy Rider, Stand By Me, The Wicker Man (original), Crash, House of Flying Daggers, the Woodsman, A Clockwork Orange, The Battleship Potemkin, Dude where's my car, Beavis & Butthead do America, the South Park movie, Assault on Precinct 13 (original), Irreversible, and of course Dead Mans Shoes

Television:

BRASS EYE, The Mighty Boosh, The Day Today, Fonejacker, Family Guy, SOUTH PARK, Father Ted, and My Name is Earl are some of my favorites. Got a bit of a thing for historical/period dramas and documentaries too. Stargate Atlantis are a pretty major "guilty" pleasure for me too

Books:

I highly recommend them. Strange little paper things I know, but once you get past that, you might just broaden your horizons a tiny bit.

Heroes:

My friends - You guys all know who you are :-) also, see "who Id like to meet"

My Blog
