About Me

Flatlands started off as a wisp of heather floating on the breeze of a bright Spalding day, then it rained and we got washed away in the river until we got snagged on a branch on the cusp of the Witham, since then we’ve been writing songs that reflect our damp, snagged human condition. We like to play shows so please put us on in your locale. We have recorded our first full-length album , scheduled for release in the summer on the ever-supportive Sound Devastation records, this features our unofficial 6th member, Mr Timothy Holehouse esq. who you should also listen to.
Please also send cans, its harvest time.
RELEASES INCLUDE- "Come For The Boredom, Stay For The Monotony" self released CDR demo (2005), split 12" LP with Sunshine Republic(2005), Superfi Records, "Vermuyden" CD Sound Devastation Records (2006).
We have toured with the following bands- Red Stars Parade/Naked Shit (2005), The Death Of Her Money (2006), Narwhal (2006) and Montana (2008).
