Away with the faery fireworks...

About Me

I am a person. I have organs and bones (as far as I know) and I also like to make things out of stuff (especially mud). I love writing for some strange reason (hence my uni course- creative writing)and I'm trying to write a novel BUT IT'S TAKING FOREVER... It's all fantasy-ish. I like people (lots) especially the ones that are nice, and i like animals too because they're so dinky. I also like dragons and festivals and mountains and forests and the sea and music and the list could go on forever but my dinner might burn the house down... (no, my dinner is not a dragon, I'm one of those weird vegetarian varieties.) ___________________________________________ Nature makes me very happy and its destruction makes me very sad. My Interests

I'm interested in everything in the world and everything in the universe too, if only life wasn't so short. Want to do everything and see everything! TOO LITTLE TIME DAMN IT! Ah well, better make a start...Some of my arty stuff and other random things:

I'd like to meet:

The dragon that used to fly me to the top of Mount Everest when I was little, and the bird that flew in circles so fast that it caused a hurricane in my garden, although I doubt either of them have a myspace. Also, George Bush, so I can assassinate him.Oh, and Simon Pegg and Jhonen Vasquez, because they are superheroes, and I want to tell them that if I had a guild of superheroes, they would be invited. As well as the above, everyone in the whole wide world, and all their alter-egos

Music:

Maaaiiiiiinly I love rock and indie, and i like punk and ska and metal and all that malarkey. Bands: incubus radiohead foo fighters nirvana killers coldplay audioslave SOAD greenday chillipeppers sublime bad religion mr. bungle reel big fish less than jake jessie james capdown libertines placebo blur CKY cure tool my chemical romance funeral for a friend the used muse NIN pink floyd smashing pumpkins snow patrol joy division feeder soundgarden metallica counting crows aqualung backyard babies at the drive in mars volta lostprophets billy talent deus brand new the eels faith no more graham coxon finch head automatica hell is for heroes hot hot heat inme levellers stereophonics the beatles cooper temple clause transplants the who the zutons the coral garbage electric soft parade hundred reasons prodigy kaiser chiefs to name a...umm, few...

Movies:

Amelie, spirited away, donnie darko, pulp fiction, train spotting, fight club, schindler's list, lord of the rings, dogma, all the tim burton ones, all the monty python ones (especially holy grail) finding nemo, shaun of the dead, the pink panther, pans labyrinth, loads more that for some reason I've gone completely blank on...

Television:

I don't watch it much... but am obsessed with a few programmes:spaced, the simpsons, futurama, family guy, peepshow, invader zim (MOOSEY FATE!), mighty boosh, scrubs, umm that's about it really. Apart from documentaries and the news...

Books:

All of the Terry Pratchett discworld ones (especially the hogfather), lord of the rings (Tolkien), his dark materials trilogy (Philip Pullman) regeneration (Pat Barker), going for stone (Philip Gross), birdsong (Sebastian Faulks), nineteen eighty-four (Orwell), the alchemist (Paulo Coelho), good faeries/bad faeries by Brian Froud (because of the pretty pretty pictures), only forward (Michael Marshall Smith), house of spirits (Isabelle Allende) and looking back into childhood... where the wild things are!!

Heroes:

Hmm that's a hard one... when I was little peter gurney was my hero (he's a guinea pig expert, teehee) now life's a little bit less simple I really don't know. I admire and look up to a lot of people but not sure that I have a particular hero... I could be cheesy and say my lovely friends and family... WOO! CHEESE ON A STICK!
