About Me

Doug Jones has spent twenty years in the music business, traveling across Canada playing cover tunes in nightclubs, festivals, at stampede parties and at corporate functions. Doug is actively pursuing his passion as a singer/songwriter of original Country, Country Rock and Americana music.He writes some of his songs by himself but works mostly with co-writers in Calgary, New York, Chicago and Nashville. Two of his songs have been on the ROOTS TRUE COUNTRY Charts, one for 16 weeks and the other for 10 weeks.He will release his second CD called "Forbidden" on June, 16, 2007 in Calgary.
