Since Lindsay was a young girl she has had a love for music. With her inspirations Loretta Lynn and Lila McCann she knew that her goal was to become a Country Music Singer. As a child Lindsay was always singing, whether it was in the church choir or just at home sing to the family. If you asked how long she has been singing, the answer would be "Ever since I can remember!" Her first vocal performance was when she was in kindergarten, sing A Whole New World, with her cowboy boots and Princess Jasmine outfit. Lindsay is originally from Greensboro, North Carolina but moved to the small town of Denver, North Carolina where her love for music soon evolved. Lindsays first trip to Nashville was at the age of eleven where she fell in love the traditional country sound, and twang.
Lindsay practices singing every free moment, whether its singing along with her guitar, singing with the band, or singing to the radio in her truck! She works very hard at her education, and is an A student. Lindsay sings at many shows around including: county festivals, local restaurants, coffee shops, Relay for Life (4 years in a row), the hometown Opry, and anything she can get her hands on. She has a song list ranging from LeAnn Rimes to Merle Haggard, and loves introducing the traditional sound to new listeners.
She has sung at the Nashville Palace numerous times and all the places from Tootsies to Roberts on Broadway and many more. The first time Lindsay sang at the Nashville Palace, she sang Stand by Your Man at the young age of 11. Lindsay has met many wonderful people in Nashville, and is thankful for there much appreciated help, knowledge, guidance, and true belief in her. I know they mean a lot to her. She was asked to be on The Nashville Palace All-stars Album with a few other artists from the palace. Lindsay still performs in Nashville every time she gets the chance to go out. "She possesses all the makings of a star", says Nashville musician Steve Hill, who has sung with Lindsay at the Palace. "I've worked with a lot of the greats, and Lindsay is defiantly in that category."
Now at the age of 18, she recently recorded two new original songs, one special one that her and her dad wrote, "A Girl and Her Country". While some teenagers might miss hanging out with their friends, Lindsay would rather be performing. Her ultimate dream is to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry. "The Bigger the audience, the more excited I get," she says. "I cant imagine what it would be like to perform on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry."
