About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor - Image Hosting

"Don't let the name fool you; these kids work hard. Organising the most eclectic bills they can manage, wherever and whenever possible, the Slacker crew are a great example of the DIY ethic that's keeping Liverpool's underground exiting. Keep an eye out for events and their fanzine - or just check the myspace for details. Poseurs beware; it's a fun rock'n'roll party for everyone. And I think I heard somewhere that that's the whole point" - The Fly magazine........Slacker nights feature music of all flavours, but we have a paticular focus at the louder end of the spectrum. If you're thrash punks, indie janglers, electro renegades or acoustic minstrels, just get in touch and we'll try to fit you in....We are proud to have the awesome VJ duo TV LUX at our events, throwing mind-bending visual stimulii at walls, musicians and crowds. We also support other artists like poets, painters etc........................If you'd like to play, or be involved in any way then contact us through Myspace or e-mail us at [email protected].
