About Me

'Heaven Sent' - the debut album from War Machines Of Love is OUT NOW!

Released on 8th August 2007, 'Heaven Sent' is a blistering ten-track shmorgasbord of sonic delights, produced by Chris Kimsey (of Rolling Stones fame) and recorded over the last two years. Initially available on limited CD only, a second iTunes release will follow on November 26th.

War Machines Of Love was formed by ex New Model Army guitarist Adrian Portas on his return from the heart of a black hole. The debut album with producer Chris Kimsey (you know, the guy who did all those Rolling Stones/Killing Joke/Peter Tosh/Frampton records!) is finally complete and the band are currently finalising dates to take the album out on the road. Meanwhile, whilst on occasional day release from Mr Kimsey's sonic detention centre, Portas has been recently spotted in various parts of europe in the highly questionable company of Kirk Brandon's Spear of Destiny & Andi Sex Gang. Contact with WMOL may lead to disruption of the Solar Plexus area but remember... It's all about Love.
