G14 Classified Media BiographyG14 Classified Media has been crafting their unique hip-hop sound since 2004. The team consists of different producers from different locations all working towards a common goal (the total years producing equals 15 years between the team). The production team consists of Eugene Nicholas (aka Guzl The Producer--formerly from Black Tape Productions), Johnny Kimble, and Qwantez Spearman (formerly from Black Tape Productions). Combined, the three are out to redefine hip-hop by bringing back the old sounds and mixing it up with the new.
The goal for G14 is to make good music for hip-hop listeners as well as the general masses. Creativity is the key element to the music the G14 team creates. Never afraid to journey outside of the norm, the team uses keyboard sounds and samples to create their true hip-hop sound. Inspiration is derived from various genres of music including soul, classic rock, classical, jazz, etc. Also production by Pete Rock, Large Professor, DJ Premier, Just Blaze, J-Dilla, and many more get the ideas flowing.
G14 is just about music production, but also lyricism. We have a team of lyricists ready to enter the arena and raise the bar for next generation MCs as well as Now generation MCs.
