About Me

Gigan was formed in early 2006 by left-handed lead guitarist Eric Hersemann. Having moved on from Diabolic(Century Media Records) and no longer jamming with Hate Eternal(Metal Blade Records), Eric made the decision to create a whole new musical entity...Growing tired of standard extreme metal cliches, he constructed a vehicle with which to properly express his and his bandmates imaginations: GIGAN. The Gigan "musical experience" will consist not only of agressive-intelligent speed, cosmic soundscapes and technicality, but also a visual feast as well. Magick influenced psychedelia will undoubtably be a lyrical focus in addition to songs inspired by misanthropy and the supernatural. The evolution of Gigan will certainly be a legend in the making.....Now that a multi-album deal has been signed with Index Entertainment, anything is possible...

Influences: Monsters, Magick, Misanthropy and the Supernatural. Inspiration is also drawn from all the great artists and musicians in the universe.
Sounds Like: Sort of like aggresive, guitar driven extreme metal with an intellectual/psychedelic twist. Or maybe not....check it out and decide for yourself.
