Formed in sunny miami in 2000 by Luis and 2 other guys I never met. Play 1 gig at Churchills. One guy quits and one was never really there, but finally leaves. Greg joins in May 2004, but is too lazy to learn to play the Keys so he just writes it on computer, Greg gets old bandmate Mr.PeePee to play the keys and bass stuff, and to record new stuff. They play some crappy gigs at Churchills in Sept, and october. Fight breaks out onstage, DJ's cd's get stolen, and the power goes out. A drummer whose name I forget joins in November 2004. Mr. PeePee switches to guitars. Drunken fan/roadie hits car (and pedestrian) at Kafe Krystal show. No one sues. Mr. Peepee's 600 watt JBL PA melts. Juan joins as bass player. Drummer leaves. Choups replaces. Mr. PeePee breaks a guitar string and is too poor to replace so he returns to keys/drum machines. Jacky Daniels becomes new guitarist. Brings a following of fans from his previous band(nine inch nails) with him. Samson power amp and hotspot monitor melt. Elaborate website is made, then not paid for and goes under. 'Successful' gigs at Broadway, The Music Factory, Club M, The Indie Underground, The Scene, wallflower gallery, Gumwrappers and Kafe Krystal follow. Jack's guitar is broken and repaired with cardboard, intonation is destroyed, but no one notices. Power continues to go out while on stage. Club managers continue to complain about the fog machine. Choups leaves to be in 8 other punk bands at once. Gumwrapers PA gets blown(Not Our Fault). Crowds eventually begin to take interest in shows filled with blood(real and fake), excessively drunk performances, noise, limited male nudity, insects and blinding lights. 1 car crash, occasionally missing band members, and confrontations with other bands on the bill continue. 9 songs recorded in professional recording studio on a packard bell Force 848 with stock soundcard using shareware recording programs. Cd's are handed out for free to anything the band members see in a tight dress. The cult grows larger by the day, local police take notice. Music video and more songs presently in the works. :UPDATE: There is nothing new. There is no music video. 13 songs finished, more pictures, more press kits, bigger strobe lights. Only adding friends from Florida for now on. It is a fix to everything viewed as wrong by many people: social barriers (color, class, religion), dominance and power, and oppression. It assumes that the people in the anarchist system want true freedom...the freedom to live one's life free of law and inhibition. That is why anarchy will not work in our stage of development.Society NEEDS something to oppress it. Anarchists are so gung-ho on screaming about how everyone is being oppressed, but people are oppressing themselves. The media isn't shoving things down people's throats...people are sitting around with their mouths wide open, praying that somebody will shove capitalist rhetoric down their throats. Religion doesn't force people to do things, people listen to what religion tells them because they have no greater purpose to devote themselves to. Media, religion, government, laws...these are all escapes; shelters from the unknown. Not destructive forces of infinite power. How did these systems become so large and influential? Everyone decided to take part.The reason political anarchists do not realize this is because they are so fixated on victim mentality. We are being oppressed. It's THEM doing it to US. The system is corrupt. What they don't realize is that the system isn't some separate entity oppressing us and micro-managing our lives...the system IS us. We are the system. Everyone on this planet is "the system". We ALREADY make our own rules and live by them. Of course the system is corrupt...it's comprised soley of people. Maybe instead of fighting for freedom on behalf of those who don't want it, people should be trying to realize their own freedom.Anarchy sucks because it's a whole philisophy based on victim mentality. People use it as a shield to hide their own fear of realizing true freedom for themselves. They blame government and society for keeping them from doing the things they want to do. They blame the laws for restricting them. Read some anarchist documentation...it's full of laws...do's and don'ts. It's full of ways to deal with criminals and those who don't do their share of work. Full of ideas on how goods should be transported and how communication infrastructures should be set up, how neighborhoods will be divided and how food will be shared. Hmm, sounds like any working country. What happens if I want to do it my way? Suddenly everyone else is oppressing me. Uh oh...did I just find a flaw?Freedom cannot be given or taken. Freedom comes from within.
