What do I know? I'm a crap songwriter

About Me

This was once a former site to a band that I've attepmted to start (La Malaise). After dealing with movings, illness, and creative differences, I've decided to make this a solo page. I'm still interested in playing and will try to do more open mics than I have been recently. I'm also looking for a cellist to play out as a duo, since I've had the most success in that respect. However, if the right people come along, I would love to have a full band. But in the meantime, I'll try to record on my four track and find a way to transfer those records to digital so that people out there can hear the shit ton of songs that I've written in the past year and a half.
On a side note to Bands, Agencies, etc., I will not advertise on your site, and I expect the same from you. Please, use your own space for advertisting, not mine. Thank you.
ADDING CRITERIA:
Since everyone and their mother has a page now (including spammers), I have grown more picky about who I add.
Bands, from now on I'm only adding ones that I actually like, respect and/or know. I don't really give a shite about your band from North Carolina that plays the Fayettville bar circuit and has 10,000 friends, even a few from Uganda. I may even remove some that I added pragmatically in the past...if I get the motivation.
I have grown suspicious of those fake profiles that are really trafficking porn or pyramid schemes. If you have a personal profile and it looks like it has fender strats, little info filled out (but always stating that you don't "Want Kids"), 64 friends on your list that it's plausible you hardly know any of them and all your comments say things like "thanks for the add", then I'm going to think that you are spam and not add you.
I could be mistaken and accidentally deny someone who really likes my music. In that case, shoot me a message that's earnest enough and I will add you. Thanks.

While I take forever to cut demos

Here are some lyrics I just wrote, hot off the press.  I went to Cali recently and finally wrote the song I wanted to write about my experiences (and some imagination). Hell, if I came back ...

When it finally goes through the censorship filter...

...I just put a rough demo up for a song called "From the Grave".  I did it completely on a four track, even doing things like recording my own backing vocals. I'm still learning the art of recor...

A new premise...

After trying to get a band off the ground and having hit into numerous brick walls, I changed this into a solo page.  I still have songs that I've written that need a full band sound, but there a...
