Principle Sound is a South London Based Production outfit. With its roots in various musical genres, it aims to blur the ever present boundaries between established music styles. Taking prime elements from drum n bass, grime, hip hop and house, its sound often fuses dark synths, weighty drum patterns and a diverse range of samples. Refusing to churn out minimalist rollers, Principle Sound's aim is to create sonically rich and musically interesting tracks. Recently collaborating with south London based mcs Ria and Klassic on the up and coming track 'Get Down', Principle Sound have produced two mixes that highlight the scope of their sound. First up, a grime fueled skank. Ria and Klassic's insanely catchy chorus is served over dark stab basses, breaky hats, deep subs and body shakin 808's. Tied together with chilling pads and an infectious middle eastern lead synth, Principle Sound deliver their debut grime track, set to storm the scene in early 2007. Their second mix is a head nodding blend of rock guitars, distorted basses and unconventional drum patterns. Switching in and out of a house influenced bridge, Principle Sound prove that they are not to be pigeonholed.
