DJ Cheeky started djing in 1999, playing the best in old school garage and vocal flavas. From then till In 2002 he held down pirate radio shows on South Londons leading pirate radio stations Elite 95.5 and 2GEE 102.7FM and did raves all across the county. In 2003 Cheeky joined Andy B every Friday night from Midnight till 3am on Choice FM 96.9FM and 107.1FM doing a grime segment on the show pushing the freshest artists to a new audience on the legal airwaves making him one of the first DJ's to be playing grime on a legal station. In the Spring of 2004 hooked up and started djing with one of the most influential artists in the game, Wiley. During this time Cheeky did the PA tour with him all over the country. Also joining Londons leading pirate radio station Freeze 92.7FM doing a show every Thursday 10-12PM. By 2005 Cheeky was working closely with his good friends the Roll Deep Crew and South Agents Crew doin radio and raves up and down the country from Leeds to Bristol to Norwich to Liverpool. During the year Cheeky released a mix CD called Underground Vibes Vol. 1 which networked its way around the underground. From 2004 Cheeky was expanding by working for XL Recordings as an A&R scout finding the hottest talent from the grime scene. In early 2006 Cheeky released another mix CD called Dont Be Cheeky Vol.1 which set a record making Cheeky the DJ with the most dubz. Most recently releasing Science Faction Mixtape in the U.S.A through breakbeat science recordings. He is responsible for the release of the popular tunnel vision series of mixtapes produced by eskiboy, as well as the distribution of the biggest selling grime artists around the UK.
