And a Meadowlark Sang
The child whispered, "God, speak to me."
And a meadowlark sang.
The child did not hear.So the child yelled, "God, speak to me!"
And the thunder rolled across the sky,
But the child did not listen. The child looked around and said,
"God, let me see you", and a star shone brightly.
But the child did not notice. And the child shouted,
"God, show me a miracle!"
And a life was born but the child did not know.So the child cried out in despair,
"Touch me God, and let me know you are here!"
Whereupon God reached down
And touched the child. But the child brushed the butterfly away
And walked away, unknowing.

People who are creative, positive, or have interests in common. It would really be fun to meet some of my MySpace buddies in the states and countries where they live. For this page, I'd love to hear from anyone who simply loves butterflies and/or beauty in nature or likes this page. If you find good music, a good poem or saying that is relative, feel free to share it in "comments". You make my page more interesting and beautiful.=) Visit Internet Clipart for great graphics
This great purple butterfly
In the prison of my hands
Has a learning in his eye
Not a poor fool understands.

Observe the faith of a caterpillar,
That never questions 'why'.
Behold what a homely worm
Becomes a butterfly.

~The Butterfly Song~
Butterflies soar freely
On a whisper of the wind.
There's a time for new beginnings.
There's a time for things to end.
So,take all of the sadness,
That you're holding deep inside,
And give it to the butterflies.
They'll take it for a ride...
To a place...
Where hearts are happy,
And arms are open wide,
A place where dreams
Can all come true,
And there's no need to hide,
A place where all the angels sing,
And there is love and peace.
There you will learn to laugh again,
And all your tears will cease.
Butterflies soar freely
On a whisper of the wind.
So let go of your butterfly.
Let healing time begin.

Almost all, including some classical: Chopin, Bach harpsichord pieces, some of Edvard Grieg's, Tchaikovsky's and Rachmaninoff's music, and chamber music. Besides these I enjoy flamenco and other acoustic guitar, musicbox music, glasses, and keyboard music. I'll stop here!
I'm pretty persnickety on this. There are a few I genuinely like and wouldn't be ashamed to watch with my Lord or my pastor!
Nature is my favorite movie.
I don't watch it. If I find the time, I may start a MySpace group for others who find it too time-consuming, distasteful or boring. If you'd be interested in this let me know. Don't worry: if you love TV you can still be on my buddy list! I was an addict at one time. (Couldn't miss those "Dallas" and "Knott's Landing" episodes! I know this dates me!) (Update: Extreme Home Makeover is the bomb!)
A good book is as marvelous as a butterfly in flight. - Anonymous
Used books on gardening, poetry, herbs, flowers, and anything unusual or interesting. Also, I could spend a fortune on Dover Publications books.
