M-16 - Murder 16th it's a new death metal project born in January'06 and founded by the bass-player Saverio Mollica (ex-NEOPHYTE). At the beginning of February'06 Davide Firinu (IRREVERENCE, L'ORDADUNTO) and Riccardo Paioro (IRREVERENCE) joined the band. The band begins immediately to compose new material, placing side by side cover songs and composition in its rehearsal-sessions. In late February'06 Lele Turco (ex-HELLSTORM and ALTHEREA) join the band, and finally the line-up is completed. The style can be described as classic death metal influenced by thrash metal style as bands such as Sinister, Morbid Angel and less Sodom. Its main influence is european death metal. They are playing heavy, fast, with some really cool riffs and a devasting rhythm section. Their music is a bit old fashioned, but also has a fresh approach in it. Most of the songs are good with the vocals being aggressive and more brutal. The band faced the stage two times 'till now: in April'06 at Cougar Pub in Milan with HELL IN A CELL, and May'06 at Marmaja Live Club with ALTERHATE, WOPTIME, L'ORDADUNTO and HELL IN A CELL. At this time their a busy with the composition of the new songs that will compose the first studio work of the italian deathsters, foreseen for next year.
