About Me

This myspace is designed for anyone interested in what I do as an actor, musician or business owner. This site is not intended as a dating service page or other, but more specifically as a way to connect with collegues and fellow professional people in the entertainment, video and film industries. Now with that being said...
First off I am a drummer of 20+ years, all kinds of styles. Rock, Pop, Jazz, Funk whatever. I have done clubs for years, recording sessions, whatever. I of course love to play wherever, when-ever. And with anyone and everyone that I can. I have had some success but I never got to be a rock star (Yes, all my life I have truly wanted to be a rock star…on the road touring from town to town city to city, where-ever…I’m not afraid to admit it)
As of late I have been playing drums in an orchestral theater setting. Working as drummer/percussionist for Debbie's theater jobs/theater camps and theatrical endeavors through her entertainment company Interact Entertainment. I've played for everything from Oliver, Mary Poppins and Beauty and the Beast to West Side Story, Cabaret, Rocky Horror, All Shook Up and Tony N Tina's Wedding which I've been involved in now since 1998 here in Detroit. And until recently also playing in the Orlando Florida version of Tony N Tina's
In the past few years with the help of my girlfriend Debbie I have fallen in love with acting and singing with an emphasis on musical theater. It helps to have a significant other with a Masters degree in Musical Theater who is also a talented music director and wonderful actress in her own right. I have been blessed with the opportunity to do some very interesting roles such as; Dr. Henry Jekyll in Jekyll & Hyde, Percey Blakney in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Bill Sykes, Lancelot in Camelot, and Jerry Lukowski in The Full Monty…the list goes on.
I own and operate a video production company,A2 Creative, Inc. www.a2creative.com We do broadcast commercial work, movie trailers, DVD authoring and design, motion graphics, 3D animation, print applications and promotional work for studios here in Detroit, New York City and Los Angeles California.
My daily function in the company is Owner/management but I am also the creative force behind the scenes as well, driving the design and look of the company…working post (AVID editor, Final Cut)I am very proficient in all the toys, AVID, FCP, Photoshop, After Effects, Lightwave, DVD Studio Pro, Illustrator…..on and on.
Personally, I am an active guy (when I can climb out from behind the computer) I’m not a smoker however I have been known to partake in a cigar or two. I enjoy swordplay/fencing, stage combat, bicycling, martial arts (when I was younger) racquetball and tennis…although I rarely play anymore. I have found a new interest in Golf but there again I rarely have time to play. I love wine (I’m a fan of merlot in particular) Drambouie and an occassional Scotch. And I love good food…sushi, Tai, steak, Fresh vegetables and Fruits…basically anything healthy (no MacDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King…although I do like to sneak an Arby’s in every now and then) I love music if it’s innovative and well performed (most everything on the radio is crap) I am an ultra creative in everything I do…always thinking outside the box
