Carrie was born in Asia where she spent her early childhood, before moving to home to Ireland, then England. Her Grandfather was an Irish folk/classical singer and she began her music career whilst still at school. Carrie has a haunting Lyric Soprano voice with an unusually high range. This year has seen her singing in both London and New York, where she recently recorded two classical crossover duets for Hip Hop record label Cold Heat Records alongside rapper Jak Danielz. She trained with famous Bel Canto teacher Alma Caesari and Mary Hammond from the Royal Academy of Music as well as studying classical piano for many years. Carrie has recorded lead vocals on both film soundtracks and albums of new musicals. She is currently working on several exciting projects with various other artists, writers and producers and will be releasing an album of classical crossover music in 2007. Carrie is also an actress and has appeared in lead roles in Plays and Musicals at some of the UK and Europe's big theatres. Her London appearances include the Palladium, Shaw, Greenwich and Cochrane theatres and she also sang as a soloist to open the Leicester Square Premiere of Universal Pictures/Mattels new animated film "The Princess and the Pauper". Carrie recently played the young female lead in African Feature Film "Koofori", which has just been released in Africa. She also played the leading role of Ollie in the pilot episode of the new sit com "Beecham Pottering in D Hood", and was recently on American television show "Turning Point", which broadcast a documentary about Carrie and her career. She played a lead role in "Henry and May", a film shown in cinemas in the UK and Europe, as well as appearing in feature film "White Light" for UIP Ltd. Carrie was recently seen on Asian Television, acting opposite a cartoon character and plays a lead role on DVD/Game Murder by the Mob, out in shops later in the year. She will be filming in India, playing the young female lead role in British thriller The Backpacker, for release in 2008 and is currently recording a classical album as the lead soprano for release in 2007.
