About Me
Darius was born with a passion for music. Having played instruments from an early age, Darius began his music career playing in various bands and writing music in various genres. Soon finding himself fascinated with electronic music, artists like Daft Punk, Ministry and Skinny Puppy provided Darius with a bridge into this new genre.
With the experience of DJing clubs and parties since 2000, Darius is an extremely versatile DJ and can regularly be seen playing sets for main room, warm up, recovery and everything in between! Darius' DJ style and productions are loosely based around influences from electro and tech-house.
Darius holds DJ residencies and has played at various venues in Melbourne, such as Circus, Q Bar, Metro, Billboard, Mothers Milk, and has supported many international artists such as Malente, Eric Laville, Zoo Brazil, Brett Johnson, Yousef, Duoteque and more. Darius has also performed at various festivals eg. Kiss My Grass, Stereosonic, and the upcoming Climate Music Festival along side artists such as Richard Dinsdale, Junkie XL, DJ T, Tommy Lee w/DJ Aero, Mark Mendes, Klaas, Ian Carey and many more. You can also catch Darius playing on Kiss FM saturdays from 10pm to midnight, hosting the weekly 'Circus Side Show' radio show.
After working in the music industry for over 3 years with the likes of Mr Timothy and various other highly respected artists, producers and engineers, Darius took in what he learned from the best and began to produce his own beats. Still maintaining strong links to the music industry, Darius now focuses more on his production and has collaborated with a number of notable local and international artists. Darius currently has songs released both locally and internationally and has worked with names such as Christian Hoff, Thomas Andersson, Jacuqes C, Delicious Goldfish Records, Illectro UK, Tornato Productions and various others.
