All things music - hard rock and heavy metal. I like cover bands, and bands that do original stuff. I don't like the ones with big egos though. I love my kid, my sister and her family, my cats, my friends, my boyfriend, la de da, etc. I'm a bit of a computer nerd, but I don't think I'm too far gone yet. I like watching football a little, drinking MGD light, playing bass - shit, I sound like a dude! Well, I like to garden from time to time, and I love flowers - that's kind of girly, huh? I also have a pink bass.

The Muppet Personality Test
I'd like to meet people who don't piss me off. Those are my favorites. I'm not as angry as I sound ... seriously. The anger is decorative. And this guy:
Rock and metal!!!!! From 80s hair metal and thrash to Audioslave and Slipknot. A lot of the bands I like are on my friends list - except Tool cuz they don't ever seem to want to get a MySpace page. I get a kick out of stuff in odd time signatures. Yes, I'm a dork. I am quite familiar with many genres of music - I should totally host a VH-1 special of some sort! I know a lot of 70s, 80s and 90s pop and rock, and even a bit of country music (from the 80s up until about 1999). I just really like music a lot.
My bass influences are many, but some of my favorites are Rex Brown (Pantera), Cliff Burton (Metallica), Rachel Bolan (Skid Row), Duff McKagan (Velvet Revolver/Guns 'n' Roses), Dave Benedict (Default), and Justin Chancellor (Tool - see below) is my hero (despite his use of a pick, which everyone who knows me knows I'm allergic to picks).
I rarely watch movies cuz I'm too busy. When I do, I mostly like comedies and thrillers/horror movies. This is Spinal Tap and Napoleon Dynamite were great. And MST3K of course!
I watch stuff on Court TV, like Forensic Files, and shows like CSI and occasionally Law and Order, Animal Planet, Comedy Central (mostly stand up), Fuse and VH1. Oh, and the local news and occasionally football - go Patriots (and Packers too - but not so much last season)!!!!!
I never get a chance to read outside of work - except for music magazines and theory books and stuff of that nature. I once read "Johnny Got His Gun" by Dalton Trumbo and really liked it. I'm not into war stories; I got the idea from Metallica's "One" video. There was some book about near death experiences I read once that was cool.
