The Stag Reels

About Me

Somewhere between Punk Rock, Country, and Rock and Roll you'll find The Stag Reels. We've been around a little while seein' as how we're enjoyin' ourselves we plan on stickin' round a while longer. We've found ourselves at a cross roads with the depature of our best mate Lawrence as our low end picker and possibly adopting some wierdo creep off of the street to have our bass needs met. Happy trails and we will see you in a town near you!

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: thestagreels.com
Band Members: Darcy "I'm makeing my lunch!" Webb Guitar/Vocals
Rob (did I leave the stove on?) Lord on Drums
Some guy who looks just like Lawrence W. That's really creepy and boy do I mean creepy with a capital 'C'!
Influences: The Stag Reels as a whole have their own unique influences ranging from Johnny Cash and Social Distortion to those sleasy kitten theatres everybody talks about but no one goes to ( or do they?) We love to be covered in grease and sawdust and dirt ( it's to do with our job's you pervert!) but when were not covered in above mentioned filth, we do love to play, we really do! Not for fortune, cause we're broke, not for fame, cause that movie sucked! except for "what a feelin" on the soundtrack it has it's own personal qualities that we need not discuss. Anyway with the horses watered the chickens fed and the little one's put to bed, put your ear to the window and you just might hear the sweet sound of The Stag Reels, if not traffic will do, or that jerk who plays bad hip hop to loud and gets drunk every tuesday for some goddam reason!
Sounds Like: Watch the video "7042 (When I Go)" from the last record Dime A Dozen
Type of Label: None
