DJ String's Career in the Music Industry began 24 years ago, in the days of the Legendary Sound Systems. Specialising in Reggae, Soul / R&B, Rare Grooves and playing at Private Functions, Blues Dances, Warehouse Parties and Clubs, with notoriously well known Sounds such as Saxon, Young Lion, Gemmi Magic, Soul2Soul with Jazzy B, Madhatters with Trevor Nelson, Mastermind, Funkadelic, Rapattack and TNT amongst others.His Radio Presenting Career started with Elite Radio (1992-1994) with his Infamous Music to the Max show, playing everything under the vast Umbrella of Soul! Those vibrant Jazz Funk beats, Soulful Drum n Bass, Motown, Northern Soul and the Old Skool Classics and Rares of yesterday, the days when going out was all about dancing and enjoying the beats and rhythm in the passion of the music. Music to the Max continued on Klimaxx Radio (1997) then moving on to Supreme Fm and then back to Klimaxx in 2007. In 2008 DJ String has moved again to two new radio stations....audioshakradio.com Saturday and Sunday midday till 2pm and soulradio.uk.com and 106fm Saturday and Sunday 4 til 6pm with his now famous catchphrase 'Music to Move, Groove and Soothe'.He became embroiled in the underground development of Jungle Drum&Bass (1994-1997) with his brother DJ Ron, working alongside him in the management of his Record Labels London Sumting Records, Pimp and Piccasso. DJ String was a well-known MC on the jungle scene, hosting major events such as Jungle Fever, Roast, VIP Champagne Bash and Desert Storm.
